The North Leicestershire Association of the National Trust Members and Volunteers was founded in 2008 by Christine Scaldwell March.
It is a volunteer run group whose aim is to promote and prosper the work of the National Trust at all levels.
We do this by organising a year round programme of social events. We donate the surplus from these events to National Trust projects and appeals.

The North Leicestershire Association of the National Trust Members and Volunteers was founded in 2008.
After 12 years of successful support for the National Trust we have found a decline in the number of members able to support the Association by joining the committee to plan and manage it’s activities. The committee have therefore taken the difficult decision to put in place the steps necessary to implement the dissolution of the Association.
Members are advised that an EGM will be held on Sunday 3rd May where the motion to dissolve the Association will be put to the members attending. If passed the dissolution will be implemented on the 17th June.
The EGM will be immediately followed by a Lecture Lunch. More details are given below.
In order to proceed we need to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting which had been planned for the beginning of May.
The occurrence of the current health crisis has meant that the planned EGM has had to be postponed together with the cancellation of the planned visit to the Century Theatre in Coalville.
We shall arrange an EGM in the future when life returns to normal.
In the meantime the Committee of NLNTA hope all members avoid the Virus and continue to enjoy good health.
With every best wish.
